By tightening the ligaments and deeper tissues of the face, rather than just the skin, slidden fat pads and drooping muscles are replaced to where they originally sat. Because this procedure is completed at a deeper level, the recovery tends to be easier than that of the traditional facelift with minimal bruising or swelling by comparison.
